As part of five deep sea expeditions in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history by reaching the deepest point on Earth. Following that world record dive, this game-changing watch has now been adapted into a unique collection available to the public. The design was tested in real ocean conditions during development and is water-resistant to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet), meeting the ISO 6425:2018 standard for saturation dive watches.
This robust O-MEGASTEEL 45.5 mm model features a polished orange ceramic bezel with a diving scale in liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. Through the raised domed sapphire crystal, the lacquered gradient dial transitions from grey to black, with four orange Arabic numerals, 18K white gold hands and hour markers coated with white Super-LumiNova.
The watch is presented on a rubber strap with orange lining and O-MEGASTEEL buckle, and the caseback features a grade 5 titanium medallion with a laser-engraved Sonar logo with the iconic Omega Seahorse at its center. Inside, the watch is driven by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912.

Diver's watch certified for saturation diving
To guarantee the Ultra Deep’s saturation diving capabilities as a diver’s watch, the timepiece was tested to comply with ISO 6425:2018 standards. Nine tests were conducted, including checks for visibility, magnetic resistance, temperature cycling, salt spray, shock resistance, water resistance, free fall shock, accessory resistance, and saturation diving. METAS certifies that the watch has been tested and meets the required standards.
