In keeping with the brand’s maritime legend, OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean watch collection in 2005. Today, this stylish watch has become a classic that pays tribute to OMEGA’s diving watch heritage.
The 45.50 mm stainless steel model is paired with a ceramic titanium dial with a small seconds dial and calendar window, and a 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph subdial at 3 o'clock. The button ring and unidirectional rotating bezel are made of orange ceramic, and the diving scale is covered with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova luminous coating.
Other design features include a toothed screw-down case back, an orange, gray and white NATO 5-stripe strap, and a polished stainless steel buckle and strap clip.
This watch is water-resistant to 60 atmospheres (600 meters/2000 feet) and is equipped with a helium-escape valve. The timepiece is equipped with the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, the operation of which can be clearly seen through the transparent case back. The watch has passed the eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and has been certified as a Master Chronometer.
