With this deep connection to the sea in mind, OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. This stylish collection is a true descendant of OMEGA's diver's watch DNA.
This 43.5 mm stainless steel model features a white ceramic dial with orange applied Arabic numerals and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The orange ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel includes a diving scale filled with Liquid Ceramic and Super-LumiNova.
Other features include a wave patterned screw-down caseback and an orange, grey and white striped polyamide NATO strap with a polished stainless steel buckle and keepers.
Water resistant to 60 bar (600m/2000ft) and comes with a helium escape valve. At the heart of the watch is the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, visible through the transparent caseback. The watch has passed the eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to achieve Master Chronometer certification.
